With the European Free Trade Association countries, "noting"
Korea submitted its request for entering into negotiations to conclude an ‘FTA’ with the GCC States. The GCC Financial and Economic Cooperation Committee approved this request on 27 May 2007. So far three rounds of talks have been held. The first round was held in July 2009 and the last was in July 2009, during which a number of topics related to this agreement were agreed.
