This occurred during his attendance at the opening ceremony of the games held today, Tuesday, April 23, 2024, in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE), under the theme 'One Gulf, One Youth'.

The event was attended by His Highness Shaikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Sports Council, and witnessed the participation of several senior officials in the sports sector representing the GCC countries.

In his statement, His Excellency the GCC Secretary General affirmed that the UAE's distinction and commitment in organising such Gulf events that highlight the capabilities of young individuals and develop their leadership skills demonstrates its valuable and significant role in supporting and developing the sports and Olympic movement in the Council's countries.
