Proceeding from the role of the GCC Authorities concerned with small and medium enterprises to discuss the economic effects of the Corona virus epidemic. Moreover, review the efforts of member states to enable the private sector to play its role in the economy in light of the current exceptional circumstances, as well as the urgent initiatives undertaken by the GCC states to support the private sector, especially small and medium enterprises.

The GCC Committee of People Responsible for Entrepreneurships and Knowledge Economy Initiatives for Small and Medium Enterprises held a brainstorming session via visual communication, on Monday, 18 May 2020, to discuss the situation of small and medium enterprises after Corona.
