The Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council HE Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid al-Zayani participated in the press conference held by HE Dr. Ibrahim bin Abdulaziz Al-Assaf, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and HE Ahmed Aboul Gheit, Secretary-General of the Arab League, on Thursday, 30 May 2019, in regards to the convening of the GCC and Arab Extraordinary Summits in Mecca. 

Both the Saudi Minister for Foreign Affairs and the Secretary-General of the Arab League responded to the journalists' questions, while the Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council read out the final communiqué of the GCC Extraordinary Summit issued by the leaders of the GCC member states.
