The GCC Council of Olympic Committees held the 31st meeting on Tuesday, 9 April 2019, in Muscat, Oman.

They approved the recommendations resulted of the GCC Executive Board of Olympic Committees 88th Meeting, which included several issues, most notably; the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques vision in regards to encouraging the GCC voluntary work, the progress report on the establishment of the Gulf Dispute Resolution Authority, the item on school sports, the Physical Literacy Initiative, the list of honor workers in the field of sports, and the sports events and prizes of  the GCC Executive Board (Outstanding Organizational Committee Award, and the Sports and Environment Award), as well as developing a sports Joint strategy, and establish international cooperation and strategic dialogues with distinguished countries and international organizations in the field of sports.
