His Excellency Mr Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi, Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), expressed his condemnation and disgust at the terrorist attack that targeted the Khor Mor gas field in Kurdistan, Iraq, which resulted in the killing of four innocent workers from the sisterly Republic of Yemen and caused several injuries.

His Excellency the Secretary General emphasised that these terrorist attacks, which aim to destabilise the security and stability of the sister Republic of Iraq, constitute a blatant violation of the principles of international law. 

Moreover, he stressed the firm and rejecting stance of the GCC towards all forms of violence, extremism, and terrorism that aim to undermine security and stability and contradict human values and principles.

Moreover, he expressed his sincere condolences to the families and loved ones of the victims of this terrorist act and wished a speedy recovery to all the injured.
