His Excellency Mr Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi, Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), stated that the opening of the GCC Pavilion at the Abdullah Al Salem Cultural Centre in Kuwait next Wednesday, November 13, 2024, coincides with the upcoming 45th Gulf Summit scheduled for December 1, 2024.
On this occasion, HE the GCC Secretary General expressed his heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to His Highness Shaikh Meshaal Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, the Amir of the State of Kuwait, for the significant and unwavering support he provides to the GCC’s endeavors across various fields.
He also extended his thanks to the Amiri Diwan and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kuwait for their unlimited support and efforts in preparing and executing the pavilion's activities.
Moreover, His Excellency highlighted that this pavilion is the first of its kind to be established alongside the Gulf Summit with such a design and content. He noted that the General Secretariat hopes to organise a GCC pavilion at every future Gulf Summit.
Additionally, he mentioned that this pavilion is part of the Council's activities and events, aimed at introducing citizens and residents of Kuwait to the achievements of the blessed journey of the GCC and enhancing the spirit of Gulf belonging. "The pavilion will be open for a month, from November 13, 2024, to December 13, 2024, at the Abdullah Al Salem Cultural Centre," he stated.
