His Excellency Mr. Jassem Mohamed Albudaiwi, Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), expressed his strong condemnation of the Israeli occupation forces' storming of the Jenin camp in the West Bank, which led to the death of a number of Palestinians.
HE the Secretary General stressed the need for the international community to move urgently to stop the Israeli attacks, which are a flagrant violation of the resolutions of international legitimacy on the Palestinian cause, affirming the need to provide the necessary protection for the Palestinian people, and support all regional and international efforts to advance the peace process in the Middle East.
His Excellency reiterated the firm stances of the GCC states towards the Palestinian cause as the first cause of Arabs and Muslims, and its support for the establishment of an independent Palestinian state within the borders of June 4, 1967, with East Al Quds as its capital.
