His Excellency Mr Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi, Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), received His Highness Sayyid Faisal bin Turki Al Said, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, on the occasion of the conclusion of his tenure, on Wednesday (January 8, 2025), at the General Secretariat headquarters in Riyadh.
During the meeting, HE the Secretary General praised the significant and valuable efforts made by HH the Ambassador during his tenure as the Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, stressing that His Highness’s efforts strengthened the relations between the Sultanate of Oman and the Kingdom, and opened new paths for cooperation in various fields between the two sides, contributing to an increase in the number of official Omani delegations visiting Saudi Arabia in recent years. His Excellency also commended His Highness's efforts in enhancing cooperation between the Sultanate of Oman and the General Secretariat of the GCC.
Additionally, several topics were discussed during the meeting, with a focus on enhancing efforts towards further integration in the Gulf joint action and reviewing the latest developments on the regional and international scenes.
