Under the generous patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the King of Saudi Arabia, and in the presence of His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Governor of Riyadh and Honourary President of the Riyadh Economic Forum, His Excellency Mr Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi, Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), participated in the 11th Riyadh Economic Forum on Monday, November 18, 2024, in Riyadh. The event was attended by numerous ministers, government officials, business leaders, experts, economists, and businesswomen and men.

During his participation, His Excellency emphasised that the 11th Riyadh Economic Forum underscores Saudi Arabia's leading and valuable role in discussing and providing solutions to various economic challenges.

He praised the importance of the forum in addressing economic, developmental, and strategic issues, and in finding solutions through constructive discussions and the exchange of regional and global experiences. 

He highlighted the adoption of initiatives and recommendations aimed at driving economic progress and ensuring sustainable development. He also commended the topics discussed in this session, including enhancing the role of artificial intelligence in national economic development and maximising economic returns from natural resources to achieve sustainable development, thereby advancing comprehensive economic development.

His Excellency also appreciated Saudi Arabia's significant experience in the economic field and its organisation of such local and international forums. He expressed his gratitude and appreciation to all those who contributed to the success of the forum and its role in promoting economic development and advancing economic policies.
