His Excellency Mr Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi, Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), received today, Thursday, March 13, 2025, at the General Secretariat in Riyadh, His Excellency Mr Ehab Abu Srei, the newly appointed Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and His Excellency Dr Clive Aquilina Spagnol, Ambassador of the Republic of Malta to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, each separately.
At the beginning of the meeting with His Excellency the Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt, His Excellency the GCC Secretary General congratulated him on his appointment, wishing him success in his duties. They discussed enhancing joint cooperation between the two sides to serve their common interests.
During the meeting with His Excellency the Ambassador of the Republic of Malta, they reviewed the relations between the GCC and the Republic of Malta and the importance of developing and promoting these relations in various fields to serve mutual interests, in accordance with the memorandum of understanding signed between the two parties in 2017.
Additionally, during the meetings, they exchanged views on the latest developments in regional and international situations and political issues of common concern.
