His Excellency Mr. Jassem Mohamed Albudaiwi, Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), stated that the General Secretariat seeks, through the new employment portal, to attract Gulf competencies and that registration is available to all citizens of the GCC countries, in accordance with the conditions, regulations, jobs and vacancies available, which will be announced soon.
This came during a presentation delivered by the team concerned with the employment portal on Wednesday (July 12, 2023) at the headquarters of the General Secretariat in Riyadh, to brief HE the Secretary General on the new portal,
On the occasion, His Excellency said that the new portal has been developed in line with the new regulations that facilitate applicants’ registration, and guarantee the principle of transparency, justice and equality in registration, so that they can fully register and follow up on their applications, adding that those who meet the conditions and pass the interviews scheduled for each job will be selected by specialised committees according to the announced jobs. His Excellency also stated that several new jobs will be announced soon in the General Secretariat.
In conclusion of the meeting, HE the Secretary General appreciated the efforts made by the team concerned with developing the employment portal and their endeavours to upgrade it, in line with the latest technologies.
