In the presence of Their Highnesses and Excellencies the Foreign Ministers of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) States, the 151st session of the GCC Ministerial Council will start today (April 7, 2022) at the headquarters of the General Secretariat in Riyadh. 


The session will be headed by His Highness Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah Al Saud, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Chairman of the current session, and will witness the participation of HE Dr Nayef Falah M. Al Hajraf, Secretary General of the GCC.

On the occasion, HE the Secretary General stated that the honourable Ministerial Council will discuss a number of reports related to following up on the implementation of the decisions taken by the Supreme Council and issued in the 42nd summit in Riyadh. 

Additionally, HE Dr Al Hajraf explained that the session will also discuss and review other memoranda and reports submitted by the ministerial and technical committees and the General Secretariat, as well as topics related to dialogues and strategic relations between the GCC countries, other countries and global blocs, in addition to the latest regional and international developments.
