His Excellency Mr. Jassem Mohamed Albudaiwi, Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), strongly condemned and denounced the shooting incident that occurred in the Al Wadi Al Kabir area of Muscat Governorate, Sultanate of Oman.
His Excellency stated that this heinous criminal act is in complete contradiction with the principles of our noble religion and human and moral values.
Moreover, His Excellency affirmed the full support and solidarity of the GCC countries with the Sultanate of Oman, and at the same time, he commended the efforts of the security personnel in the Sultanate in dealing with this incident.
He also conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims and wished the injured a speedy recovery, and prayed to the Almighty to maintain the blessings of security and stability for the leadership and people of the Sultanate of Oman, and to protect them from all harm.
