His Excellency Mr Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi, Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), praised the efforts of personnel in the Military Affairs and Security Affairs sectors to enhance the path of joint military and security work in the Gulf region.
This came during his meeting with members of the sector separately, on Thursday, January 9, 2025, at the General Secretariat's headquarters in Riyadh.
At the beginning of the meeting, His Excellency emphasised that joint military and security work in the Gulf represents an important aspect of the blessed journey and must be strengthened through coordination with member states to achieve broader horizons of military and security integration.
He also expressed his hope that during these meetings, the personnel from both sectors would put in more efforts and closely follow up on all files and decisions related to military and security matters, in order to unify the efforts of member states in these areas, which will contribute to enhancing security and safety in their countries.
