  During his Meeting with the Palestinian Ambassador to Saudi Arabia .. The Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council: Firm Stances Towards the Palestinian Issue and the Right of the Palestinian People to establish their State

HE Dr. Nayef Falah Mubarak Al-Hajraf, Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council affirmed the GCC States firm Stances regarding the Palestinian issue and the right of the Palestinian people to establish their independent state on the borders of June 4, 1967 with East Jerusalem as its capital, within the framework of international legitimacy resolutions and the Arab Peace Initiative.
This came during the receiving of HE the Secretary General on Sunday, 8 March 2020, at his office in Riyadh, HE Bassem Abdullah Al-Agha, Ambassador of the State of Palestine to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, who conveyed to His Excellency the greetings of the Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, affirming the role of the GCC General Secretariat in strengthening GCC-Palestinian relations and the continuous support in all fields, as well as congratulating HE the Secretary General on the confidence of their Majesties and Highnesses, the leaders of the GCC States, and wishing him further success.
For his part, the Secretary General  Dr. Nayef Falah Mubarak Al-Hajraf affirmed the necessity of making more efforts to find a just, comprehensive and lasting solution to the Palestinian issue in a manner that guarantees the rights of the Palestinian people.
