  The Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council receives the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Republic of Yemen

HE Dr. Nayef Falah Mubarak Al-Hajraf, Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council received on Monday 16 March 2020, HE Ambassador Mohammed bin Saeed Al Jaber, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Republic of Yemen.
The Secretary General emphasized the steadfast position of the Gulf Cooperation Council to end the Yemeni crisis through a political solution based on the three references represented in   the Gulf Initiative and its Executive Mechanism, the outcomes of the National Dialogue Conference (NDC), and the Security Council resolution 2216.
The Secretary General praised the efforts made by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to end the crisis in Yemen according to these references, and the relief and humanitarian aid it provides by the  King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre through the projects implemented by the Saudi Program for the Development and Reconstruction of Yemen, to help the Yemeni people.
Ambassador Mohammad Al Jaber expressed his great appreciation for the efforts made by the GCC General Secretariat, which confirms the keenness of the Gulf Cooperation Council to reach the desired political solution that preserves Yemen's unity, security, sovereignty and stability, and ends the difficult conditions faced by the Yemeni people, stressing that the Kingdom continues to provide all aspects of political, developmental and relief support to the brotherly Yemeni people.
