  The GCC-EMC discusses Strengthening Joint Training Cooperation with the US Department of State

The Director in charge of the GCC Emergency Management Center, Ms. Wajdan Ali Al-Aqab, received on Wednesday, 11 March 2020, at the Center’s headquarters in Kuwait a delegation from the US Army and a number of officials at the American Embassy in Kuwait.
The meeting discussed the training "International Visitor Leadership Program" organized in the United States with the participation of a number of the GCC-EMC employees. The two sises discussed means of joint cooperation between the GCC-EMC and the US State Department in other training programs in the near future, to train the GCC cadres and increase their expertise in emergency work.
On the margins of the meeting, they distributed the certificates to the participants in the International Visitor Program, which was held from February 16-26 in Washington, under the supervision of the US Department of State.
It is worth mentioning that the International Visitor Leadership Program included extensive trips to three US states that included visiting nine major institutions to learn about the different types of crisis management with its various specializations, the way to manage operations rooms and the applicable laws, and how to deal with events and their developments as quickly as possible.
