They emphasised the importance of continuing these efforts to meet the aspirations of the Yemeni people for security, development, and peace.President Al Alimi praised the commendable positions and leadership role of the GCC countries, as well as their exceptional efforts to support Yemen in various fields. He expressed appreciation for their valuable and sustainable contributions to enhancing stability and promoting the country’s advancement. In turn, HE the GCC Secretary General reaffirmed the GCC's solidarity with the Yemeni people under all circumstances. This support aims to enable Yemen to restore its security, stability, and embark on a path of sustainable development, ensuring the Yemeni people live with dignity, peace, and security. He highlighted the GCC's commitment to supporting the efforts of the Presidential Leadership Council to bolster security and stability in Yemen and reiterated the Council's support for all international and regional initiatives, including those of the United Nations, aimed at reaching a comprehensive political solution to end the Yemeni crisis.
