CVDescription1. التحق اللواء الركن/ أحمد علي حميد آل علي بالقوات المسلحة في 12/9/1981 كمرشح ضابط في كلية زايد الثاني العسكرية بالدفعة الثامنة ثم تخرج منها بتاريخ 29/3/1983 برتبة ملازم ، خدم في وحدات المشاة وعين قائد فصيلة مشاة وتدرج بالمناصب العسكرية حيث خدم كأركان حرب كتيبة وثم ركن عمليات لواء ، انتسب بعدها إلى كلية القيادة والأركان عام 1993 كدارس ثم كمعلم في الفترة من 24/5/1998 ولغاية 12/5/2003 وعمل بها كرئيس لشعبة التجهيز ، انتقل في عام 2004 لمديرية العمليات المشتركة وعين كرئيس لشعبة الكفاءة القتالية وتولى بعدها منصب نائب مدير العمليات المشتركة ومن ثم عين مدير العمليات المشتركة ، نقل بعد ذلك إلى كلية القيادة والأركان وعين كقائد خلال الفترة من 2/8/2012 ولغاية 28/8/2016.2. شارك اللواء في العديد من الدورات المحلية والخارجية في جمهورية مصر العربية وجمهورية السودان والولايات المتحدة الأمريكية وجمهورية باكستان وإيطاليا والمملكة الأردنية الهاشمية, شملت دورة الدفاع الوطني عام 2006 في جمهورية باكستان ودورة قانون الصراعات المسلحة الدولي في ايطاليا 2007 والدورة المتقدمة في إعادة البناء بعد المعركة في إيطاليا عام 2007 - 2008 ، كما شارك اللواء في مهام عملياتية خارج دولة الإمارات ، وكلف بالإشراف على بعض المشاريع التدريبية للقوات المسلحة.3. يحمل اللواء ميدالية الخدمة الحسنة للمرة الأولى والثانية والثالثة وميدالية الخدمة الطويلة الممتازة وميدالية المهام العسكرية الخارجية من دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة وحصل على عدد من الأوسمة من الدول الشقيقة والصديقة ، حيث حصل على وسام تحرير الكويت وميدالية حلف الناتو ونوط الشهامة الممنوح له من قبل القائد العام لقوة دفاع البحرين ونوط قوة درع الجزيرة.4. من أهم الهوايات القراءة والرياضات البحرية.5. متزوج وله ستة من الأبناء.
