the GCC General Secretariat organized on Monday, 13 July 2020, a seminar entitled (The Repercussions of the Emerging Coronavirus Pandemic on Tourism and Future Recovery Steps), with the participation of officials in the ministries concerned with tourism in the GCC states, the GCC Statistical Center, and the World Tourism Organization.
This seminar dealt with several issues related to the implications of the Corona Virus pandemic and its effects on the tourism sector, and the steps and proposals that contribute to the recovery of tourism in the GCC states.
They also discussed a number of proposals and recommendations presented in the working papers, and concluded with a list of them that to present to tourism officials in the GCC states for consideration and appropriate decisions.
