The Secretary
General of the Gulf Cooperation Council Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani
received on Tuesday, 18 June 2019, at the GCC headquarters in Riyadh, the
Chairman and Members of the GCC Standing Committee for Financial Control, led by, mandated Minister Juma’a bin Said
Al-Afifi, head of the internal auditing office at the Ministry of Foreign
Ministry in the Sultanate of Oman.
The
Secretary-General welcomed the Chairman and members of the Committee, praising
their efforts to follow up the financial and administrative performance of the
Secretariat and ensure that it conforms to the administrative and financial
regulations and procedures applied in the Secretariat in order to preserve
public funds and comply with applicable laws. He commended the cooperation shown by the
General Directorate of Financial and Administrative Affairs in the Secretariat
to facilitate the work of the Committee, wishing everyone success.
The meeting was
attended by, Mr. Abdulaziz Ahmed Alghanim, General supervisor of the General
Directorate of Financial and Administrative Affairs, Mr. Moulat Abdullah Alsubaie, Director-General for
Administrative and Financial Affairs, and Mr. Rabi bin Majhoud, Advisor to the
Secretariat Internal Control Department.
