The Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani received on Monday, 17 June 2019, at his office in the GCC headquarters in Riyadh, the Ambassador of the United Kingdom to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Mr. Simon Collis.
During the meeting, they discussed the GCC- UK relations and means of developing these relations in various fields within the framework of the strategic partnership between both sides, in addition to the latest political and security developments in the region, and the challenges and escalation that threatens regional security and peace, as well as issues of common interest.
The meeting was attended by, Dr. Abdulaziz Hamad Al-Owaishek, Assistant Secretary General for Political Affairs and Negotiations.
