صدر قرار المجلس الأعلى في دورته التاسعة والعشرين (مسقط ، ديسمبر 2008م) بتكليف الهيئـة الإستشــارية بدراســة الأمن الغذائـي والمائـي بدول المجلـــس . وقد أقرّ المجلس الأعلى في دورته الثلاثين (الكويت ، ديسمبر 2009) مرئيات الهيئة الاستشارية في هذا الخصوص . ويجري تنفيذ البنود في الدراسة.
